About Leesha
Leesha Monson is a PACFA registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Leesha has significant experience in the field of relationships and sexuality, as well as working with young people. Leesha is a knowledgeable and empathetic counsellor who believes that connection and authenticity are essential elements in the therapeutic process. Leesha's work is focused on eliminating symptoms of dis-ease in our lives by seeking a life of meaning and connection. First to ourselves and then to others. Without this, we all feel lost and alone.
Leesha creates a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your vulnerabilities and identify your strengths during times of struggle and change.

Leesha truly believes that everyone can recover, grow, and transform as long as they are willing to meet themselves.
Leesha holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and a Post-Graduate and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Leesha implements a diverse range of therapies in her practice, including IFS, EFT, and CBT, but mostly adopts a person-centred psychodynamic approach to individual therapy. Leesha has completed level 1 and 2 training with The Gottman Institute of couples therapy.

She is a mother to two fierce and exceptional young women as well as two spirited labradors. In her spare time, you will find her somewhere near the water. Find out more about Leesha on her Facebook page.

You don't need to find, fix, or forget yourself to feel better. You are not broken. You are enough, exactly as you are. Return to this knowing repeatedly, as it is from this space that you will thrive.

Choosing a therapist can be difficult. The most important thing to consider when doing this is your comfort. The process can be challenging enough, so you need to feel comfortable that the person you choose can understand you and care about your needs. Each person has a different idea of who this is. That is why I am more than happy to talk with you online or in person for a complimentary 20-minute session before you commit.
You can do this by filling out the form below.
